Oxford Street’s Chi Kitchen is delighted to announce that MasterChef champion Ping Coombes will be welcoming guests to join her for a special Mama’s Dearest Brunch Club, on Sunday 11th March to celebrate Mother’s Day. Guests are invited to Chi Kitchen from 12pm-2:30pm, to enjoy a delicious South-East Asian brunch feast featuring dishes Ping learnt from her Mother growing up.
The Mama’s Dearest Brunch Club includes three courses and Mothers attending will also receive a complimentary Kir Royal on arrival. The Brunch will start with Pan Fried Radish Cake with XO Sambal – a traditional Malaysian dish consisting of a delicious savoury cake made from radish, dry shrimps and rice flour, served with XO sambal sauce.
For main course guests can enjoy White Curry Mee with Prawns and Fishcakes – a noodle dish originating from Penang. The ‘white’ comes from the coconut broth, and the curry paste is served separately so you can add as much or little as you want to the broth, adjusting the spice level. For dessert, Ping has chosen her Mother’s favourite Thai pudding; Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Ice cream. This dish is made with fresh Thai mangoes, served with sticky rice which has been steamed with coconut milk and topped with coconut ice cream.
Places are limited for this special event and will sell out! So don’t miss out – get your online ticket below! If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly team on 020 3841 6888.
