One of my joy in life is to feed my friends. Since we had Alexa we entertained a lot more at home whenever we can. Recipe testing Moo Ping, Thai pork skewers. The marinade consists of coriander roots, garlic, palm sugar, fish sauce and soy sauce. Traditionally griddled over charcoal but I decided to do it on the grill but definitely grill this on coal for the upcoming BBQ season! Ping's breakfast club ‘Memories of Ipoh'

Due to popular demand, MasterChef champion Ping Coombes is bringing back her Breakfast Club on Sunday 11th June. Guests are invited to join Ping and enjoy a delicious South-East Asian inspired breakfast at Chi Kitchen, Oxford Street. Ping has titled June’s breakfast club ‘Memories of Ipoh', drawing inspiration for the menu from Ipoh – her home town. Available from Ping’s seventh Breakfast Club will be Lamb Murtabak, a Malaysian flat bread stuffed with spiced lamb mince served with pickled shallots. Also on the menu will be Gai See Hor Fun - Ipoh's most famous dish - soft rice noodles in a chicken broth topped with slithering of chicken, prawns and garlic chives and drizzled with roasted prawn oil. Guests are also invited to kick start their morning with a fiery, detoxifying Carrot, Ginger and Orange Shot. You can try Ping’s latest Breakfast Club for £20 with unlimited tea or coffee, or for £25 with unlimited tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco.
